Hello,
Had a spare few mins so thought i'd write and update you all on what we've been up to...
Flights were all fine so far, we landed in Miami and have walked around the surrounding area of south beach loads. They're really big on italian food here, and when I mean BIG, you know what I mean ;o)
We did a duck tour which is a car thing that can float too! Had a look round the aquarium, and saw killer whales and dolphins, manities and other cool things. Temperatures have been as high as about 26 and on one day abour 15 :(
We went to Tampa bay which is a nice little city to chill out in. Ybor city was our favourite place, cigars everywhere! Liz did her presentations fine.
Two highlights were the ice hockey games and valentines.... ice hockey - so good we saw two games! really exciting and great fights :) Valentines - took liz out for a romantic meal in Hooters :oD lovely atmosphere.... It was her first visit to Hooters, and mine too (with Liz).
Now back in Miami, we've just done a city tour and got back from the everglades... that was awesome. The fan boat ride was amazing, it was really fast! Didn't see Ben tho :(
An unexpected treat in the everglades was to hold a 3 year old gator! Got video and stills of it. It felt like I would imagine a snake to feel like... if that makes sense..... probs not... probs sounds mad eh adam? ;oP
We also felt hungry so ate aligator tail burger :) I took a couple of bites but couldn't really bring myself to eat it after holding it! Liz couldn't speak much as she was too busy stuffing her face with aligator!
Ahhh, and I think i'm getting fatter!
Si

I want to be the first to comment on your achievement, but can't think of anything witty at the moment. Will try hard!!!
Something witty eh... we might be waiting some time... *snores*
As you have now been mean to me, I am going to do a particularly over the top blog.
It was very nice to hear of your activities during the past week whilst accompanying my daughter to the United States of America. I was pleased to hear the airplanes were on time and you had no trouble entering the country. Anywhere you eat is of course BIG as that is the way you are.... I think it sounds with Big anyway. Seem to like the duck trips don't we? perhaps that is because you are a bit quackers. I was pleased to hear that you both liked Tampa, although a little confused with Elizabeth liking going to the cigar museum. Please don't bring any of the evil smelling things to our house. I have heard from my daughter about the ice hockey games, and the very romantic Valentines dinner you had. Of course you had to go to the everglades and pick up an alligator.... just to be the Steve Irwin of Southampton, but of course look what happened to him!. I think it was very cruel to eat Alligator tail, what happened to the rest of him? Or are you keeping it as a snack?
The spelling is MANATEES, and before you suggest anything else, I would like to be the one that adds that they look like me, grey and wrinkled........ there that his stoppped that little game.
Still I am very pleased that you are having a pleasant vacation and hope to hear more of your adventures before too long. Photographs would be appreciated.
I was only joking, it was good to see you had taken the trouble to blog while you were away! Makes a change for you to be up to date! Mind you we might have to wait for the second half of the trip, until you find the right KEYS! Is it West or Largo? don't make a Marathon out of it !!! Hope you have fun with the Dolphins........don't eat them please, the tail would make some burger! Hope the Dizzy is behaving...... speak to you soon
